The 2007 Kawasaki Vulcan® 1600 Classic Agree, Disagree? By Robert(Owner), Jan. 14, 2010 I have been riding this superb motorcycle since October of 2007 and have logged over 20,000 exhilarating miles. Maintenance is user-friendly and trouble-free. I love its clean shaft drive that does not splatter chain lube all over nor does not risk snapping belt drives. The beefy front tires with in... creased contact patch help tremendously during hard braking. The comfortable floor boards eliminate surprises like boot heels scrapin on deep leans if otherwise equipped with merely pegs. By Paul Montalbano(Owner), Jun. 14, 2011 I have had a harley and a honda cruiser but they don't stack up to my 2007 vulcan. smooth ride great comfort and plenty of power up to 90 mph. It will go faster but I am not looking for a ticket. Most times i ride someone says nice bike from their car window to me as well. What i am most suprised ab... out is the handling for a bike weighing over 650 pounds it handles very well and that is a big plus for me. my harley handled like a truck big and lumbering. the honda was better handling but was lacking in style and comfort now i have it all and am I happy. Read Full Review By Paul Montalbano(Owner), May. 29, 2011 I traded my 2006 Honda 919 awsome bike for a 2007 vulcan 1600 classic because i was tired of doing 80 MPH in 3 seconds on the Honda and wanted to get back to a big v-twin. I used to own a harley before the honda. I looked around and saw a cherry 2007 still new with 3,000 miles on it and test rode it... only to fall in love. Plenty of power smooth ride and i was suprised at how nimble it is too. I have had it for 6 months now and 2500 miles later I get stopped and told how beautiful a bike it is just about every time i ride it. I am still very happy with my purchase and won't be looking for anything else to ride surer sweet bike mine is red and titanium 2 tone. I am just loving it Read Full Review By Joe Mox(Enthusiast), Nov. 8, 2011 Been biking for years my friend has a vulcan we traded bikes for a day was suprised how little vibration there was, a at the power was smooth too. seriously considering trading in my bike [American]for this metric one. Read Full Review By michael a le bellot(Owner), Aug. 27, 2010 Ths bike supposedly has a 5.3 gallon tank yet I have only been able to use 4 gallons at a time before the light goes on and the bike actually runs out of gas. The other 1.3 gallons might be in there but they are just not making it up the tank to be of any use. A qualified mechanic has told me he thi... nks it's a design fault as the tank is in a position which dips down and that is why the remaining gas stays at the bottom. Very frustrating and I am wondering why there hasn;t been a recall for this. I had read that when the light goes on you are supposed to have another 45 miles to go but this simply has not been the case as the bike will actually conk out on you unless you fill it back up as soon as the light goes on.
